A 16-year-old Class 10 student from a reputed Delhi school died by suicide by jumping from a Metro station, leaving behind a note in which he blamed his teachers. His father has filed a case accusing three teachers and the school principal of mentally harassing the boy, claiming this pushed him to take his own life. According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed on Wednesday, the teenager left for school at 7:15 am on Tuesday. Around 2:45 pm, his father received a call that his son had been found injured near Rajendra Place Metro Station in Central Delhi. The boy was taken to BL Kapoor Hospital, where he was declared dead.
The father alleged that his son had been harassed by three teachers and the principal. Friends of the teenager said one teacher had threatened him over the past four days with expulsion and a transfer certificate. Another teacher allegedly pushed him.

The father further explained that during a dramatics class on Tuesday, his son fell and was mocked by a teacher for “overacting.” Despite the boy’s tears, the teacher reportedly told him it didn’t matter how much he cried. The principal was reportedly present but did nothing to intervene. The teenager had previously complained to his parents about harassment by the teaching staff. His parents had filed complaints with the school, but no action was taken, according to the father.

Father accuses teachers and the principal of mental harassment
The boy’s father told news agency PTI that they did not take stricter action earlier because the Class 10 board exams were approaching. He said the exams were just a month or two away and since 20 internal marks come from the school, he didn’t want to create any problems. The family had also reassured the teenager that he would be shifted to another school after the exams.
In his suicide note, the boy wrote "Sorry mummy, aapka itni bar dil toda, ab last bar todunga. School ki teachers ab hai hi aise, kya bolu (Sorry mummy, I broke your heart many times and I am doing it for the last time.
Boy requests organ donation and action against staff
A suicide note was found in the boy’s bag. In it, he asked whoever discovered the letter to call a specific phone number. He wrote that he was sorry for his decision but felt he had no other option because of what he was facing at school. He also requested that his organs be donated if they were “in a condition to work,” hoping they could help someone in need.
The boy mentioned the principal and two teachers by name, saying his final wish was for action to be taken against them so that no other student would have to go through what he did.
He apologised to his 20-year-old brother for being rude to him and told his father he was sorry for not being able to become a good man like him. He also thanked his mother for always standing by him and asked her to keep supporting his father and brother.
