A 27-year-old man, Gagan, was shot dead in Delhi’s Shahdara area late Friday night, just an hour before he was due to celebrate his birthday. Police said the incident occurred when Gagan went to meet two men to resolve a recent dispute, which unexpectedly turned violent.
What happened
According to police and eyewitness accounts, Gagan met the two men near his home in Shahdara to sort out differences. In a shocking turn, one of the suspects hugged Gagan before suddenly opening fire, fatally wounding him. The attack occurred close to midnight.
