New Delhi: The controversy over Delhi’s new excise policy does not seem to be stopping. In the latest case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team is raiding the premises of several liquor traders in connection with the alleged liquor scam in Delhi.

According to news agency ANI, this raid is being conducted by ED at 30 more locations in Delhi-NCR and other states. It includes many cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow and Hyderabad.

What is Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22?

There is a ruckus over Delhi’s new excise policy. In fact, the Delhi government wanted to completely change the experience of buying liquor through the new excise policy. In the new excise policy, hotels, bars, clubs and restaurants were allowed to remain open till 3 pm.

In this, other places including the terrace were allowed to serve alcohol. Let us tell you that before this, there was a ban on serving liquor in the open. Apart from this, any kind of entertainment can be arranged in the bar.
