New Delhi: The office of Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Sharma returned a batch of files as the documents had signature of the Chief Minister’s office staff in place of Arvind Kejriwal himself.
Referring to sources, the news agency PTI claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said the Governor is behaving like a headmaster of a ‘primary school’. The source further alleged that Sharma is ‘unfit’ for Governor’s post.
The Governor’s step is likely to increase political tension in the national capital. However, the Chief Minister has not responded to it yet.

A week ago, the Governor had written to Kejriwal grabbing his attention to the lack of CM’s signatures on the files being sent to him. He alleged that the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has been sending files seeking opinion and approval without authentic signature.
The sources in LG’s office informed that the files that was sent back to the CM included the ones like education department and the Waqf Board among others.
