Delhi: Innocent Child’s Body Scarred By Cigarette Burns, Murdered And Dumped In Toilet

A two-year-old child playing outside his home in Anand Parbat, New Delhi, was abducted, brutally attacked, and murdered. His body, scarred with burns and teeth marks, was found wrapped in clothes in a nearby toilet, sparking outrage and protests in the community.

The two-year-old child was playing outside his home in the Anand Parbat area, New Delhi, on Saturday evening when he was abducted and brutally attacked on his face with some heavy object. His body was scarred with cigarette burns and his skin had teeth marks. He was murdered subsequently, and his corpse was wrapped in clothes and dumped in a toilet 100 meters away from his home.

On Sunday morning, when the body of the child was found, angry relatives accompanied by locals blocked New Rohtak Road and protested, causing a ruckus. On getting the information, police immediately reached the spot. The jam remained there for almost an hour. A lot of persuasion and explanation later, family members calmed down. Currently, the police have registered a case of murder and formed four teams to track down the suspects. DCP M. Harshvardhan has confirmed the murder.

As per the police, two-year-old Ayush lived with his family in Kathputli Colony, Rajiv Camp, Anand Parbat. His family consists of his father Kunal Kumar, mother Annu, and three-year-old sister. Saturday evening, around 7:30 PM, Ayush was playing outside his house while his mother Annu was preparing dinner inside. After a considerable period, when Ayush did not turn up, his relatives started looking for him. They scouted everywhere possible but the child couldn’t be traced. A missing complaint was then lodged with the police.

Whole night, the child could not be traced. At about 9 am this Sunday, the cloth wrapped body of the child was found in the toilet. The family was informed following an tip-off by the neighbours. Upon arrival, the family found the child was subjected to brutality. At about 10 am, the police were informed. Angry relatives and locals blocked New Rohtak Road this Sunday morning.

Family members claimed that the boy was wearing a silver bracelet and anklets, which are missing from the body. There is suspicion that the child was kidnapped and killed for these ornaments. According to police sources, the way the child was killed makes it appear to be a case of personal dispute. Police are investigating the case.
