Delhi Minor Rape Case: A 72-year-old man was arrested in South Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl multiple times. The man, who is the family’s landlord, was reported by the girl’s parents after she told them about the abuse. The girl’s father works as a laborer, and her mother is a homemaker. The family lives in the landlord’s house as tenants.
The girl told her parents that the elderly man assaulted her whenever they were not at home. She said the abuse had been happening for the past month, with the most recent incident taking place three days ago.
26-Year-Old Raped A Five-Year-Old Girl In Maharashtra
A 26-year-old man sexually abused a five-year-old girl from a village in Sinnar taluka on August 19. The Wavi police arrested him after the girl, who had gone missing earlier, was found near a river. The police have charged him under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the POCSO Act, and he will be presented in court for custody.
A Similar Incident To The One In Delhi occurred In Telangana
A 20-year-old painter was arrested in Siddipet district, Telangana, for allegedly sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl. The girl’s grandfather reported the incident after finding her in the suspect’s room. The painter, who had recently moved to the area, tried to flee but was caught. The toddler is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
The Wavi police arrested a 26-year-old man on August 19 for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl in Sinnar village. He was initially charged with abduction, but after the child’s medical examination, the charges were updated to include sexual assault under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act. The accused also has prior theft charges.
