Delhi Govt Approves Mahila Samriddhi Yojana: THESE Women To Get Rs 2,500 Monthly Aid, Portal Launch Soon

Women in Delhi will now receive a monthly sum of Rs 2,500 under the Mahila Samman Yojana. The Cabinet today approved the enrollment timeline for the Mahila Samridhi Yojana. Women under BPL category can qualify for this scheme. On International Women’s Day, CM Rekha Gupta addressed the public at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where the Mahila Samridhi Yojana received Delhi Cabinet approval.

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta stated that, “Today is Women’s Day. We had our cabinet meeting today, and our cabinet has approved the scheme – the promise that we made during the Delhi elections to provide Rs 2500 to the women. We made a provision of Rs 5100 crores in the Delhi budget for the implementation of the scheme. We have formed the committee, which will be led by me and the registration for the scheme will begin soon – a portal will be launched soon.”

BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda mentioned that, “Today, I am happy, and I congratulate CM Rekha Gupta and others that for Mahila Samriddhi Yojan, they have allocated Rs 5100 crore to implement it in Delhi.”

The CM began her address by reproaching about the efforts that have went into getting the citizens their rightful resources and respect. He further iterated that the benefits and right they have been able to get were once a dream. It was while she resolutely contested for her place that she was able to gain the knowledge that has helped her approach the task that have been directed towards the nations collective good.

CM Rekha Gupta further iterated, How Prime Minister Modi has been able to recognize the importance of the efforts by women to lead to a more complete and a fulfilled nation. Our efforts for women empowerment in Delhi would mirror that of the measures that have been taken collectively throughout the nation.

CM further elucidated about the steps that have been developed to provide the city with a more secure and prosperous future. As per her address countless measures to make Delhi more secure for women are being collectively analyzed and explored.
