A 3.5-kilometer stretch from Datkali to Asharodi of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has been opened to the public in the fourth phase. Earlier, three lanes were operational, but now all six lanes have been opened for commuters, which will provide some relief.
The most improved section, the fourth phase of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, connects Ganeshpur village in Uttar Pradesh to Asharodi. This 20-kilometer-long stretch is under construction in three packages.

This fourth section includes two elevated sections, each 200 meters long. The first package covered a distance of 8.3 kilometers from Ganeshpur to Mohand town, while the second package covered the 8.08-kilometer stretch from Mohand town to the Datkali Tunnel.

The third package included the 3.4-kilometer stretch from the Datkali Tunnel to the Asharodi Check Post, which is now fully operational. The six lane Expressway cost of Rs 12,000 crore is expected to be completed by January 25, according to reports.
