New Delhi: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday summoned Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a defamation case filed by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
The Court directed the Congress leader to appear before the court on August 7. Hardeep Singh Jaspal, a special judge in the MP-MLA court issued the summon to Rajasthan CM.

Shekhawat, Union Minister of Jal Shakti, had filed a criminal defamation case against Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot for allegedly defaming him with a remark on the alleged 900 core Sanjivani scam.
Earlier, the Rouse Avenue court reserved its order on whether a summon is to be sent to Ashok Gehlot or not in the criminal defamation case.
