New Delhi: A Delhi Court on Thursday sent former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to Judicial Custody till May 12 in the liquor scam case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation informed the court that the investigation against Sisodia is completed, but the probe into the matter is still on. The Court directed the federal investigative agency to provide a copy of the chargesheet to Manish Sisodia.
CBI named Manish Sisodia in its second charge sheet related to Delhi Liquor Policy Case. He has been charged under sections 7,7a, and 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and 120(B) and 420 of IPC.
Manish was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation last month in connection with alleged irregularities in forming Delhi’s new liquor policy.
