New Delhi: Delhi’s former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will have to be in judicial custody till April 17. He was presented before Rouse Avenue court in Delhi on Monday at end of his judicial custody. However, the court further extended Manish’s judicial custody till April 17.
Manish was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation last month in connection with alleged irregularities in forming Delhi’s new liquor policy.
Earlier, last week a Delhi court dismissed his bail application, saying he was ‘prima facie played the most important and vital role’ in forming liquor policy in such a way that some selected people would be benefited.

Delhi’s former Deputy CM was presented before special judge M K Nagpal. After the hearing, the judge extended his judicial custody by another 14 days following the ask of CBI.
The Union probe agency requested the court to extend custody, saying that the investigation is at a very crucial stage.
