Atishi Marlena Singh, simply put as Atishi, has been appointed as the chief minister of Delhi. This decision came after a legislative meeting at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Atishi Singh will become the third woman CM of Delhi after Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dixit and the second to serve women in India at present, aside from Mamata Banerjee.
Atishi is one of the strongest woman candidates of the Aam Aadmi Party. While Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia were in jail in the excise policy case, Singh was the one who boosted the morale of the party workers and handled all the responsibilities.

Reportedly, Delhi’s new CM has 50,000 in cash with her assets valued at Rs 1.41 crores, with no recorded liabilities. As per her affidavit total gross value of her assets is Rs 1,20,12,824.

Atishi is a very active member of Aam Aadmi Party and has been associated with AAP since 2013. Being one of the most responsible leaders of AAP, she is a part of various campaigns, including the satyagraha over water in Khandwa.
