Delhi car blast case: NIA has arrested the seventh accused, Soyab, in the Delhi car bomb blast case. He is accused of giving shelter to the main suspect, Umar Un Nabi. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said on Wednesday that it took a Faridabad resident into custody for allegedly harbouring Umar Un Nabi just before the Red Fort blast.
NIA investigations have revealed that he had also provided logistical support to the terrorist Umar before the 10th November car bombing that killed several persons and injured many others outside the Red Fort in the national capital.

What NIA said
"The agency continues to pursue various leads in connection with the suicide bombing, and has been conducting searches across states in coordination with the respective police forces in a bid to identify and track others involved in the gruesome attack," the spokesperson said in a statement, as per news agency PTI.
Amir Rashid Ali was arrested earlier for allegedly arranging a safe house and providing logistical support to the main accused Umar Nabi. According to the agency, Ali was likely the last person to have been in contact with Dr Umar Nabi.
Delhi car blast
A high-intensity blast tore through an explosive-laden car near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro station on the evening of November 10, killing several people.
The incident came just hours after nearly eight people — most of them medical professionals — were arrested following the recovery of arms and ammunition from their possession. Around 2,900 kilograms of explosives were also seized as agencies uncovered a “white-collar terror module” linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, operating across Kashmir, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Several of the arrested individuals were associated with Al-Falah University.
