Delhi-Bound Air India Flight Makes Mid-Air U-Turn After Pilot Reports Technical Snag, Lands Safely

Reportedly, the flight, operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had departed for the national capital from Hong Kong.

According to the latest update, the flight has landed safely in Hong Kong and all the passengers are reported to be safe.

In another incident, Saudia Airlines plane carrying 250 Hajj pilgrims encountered a technical glitch upon its arrival at Lucknow Airport on Sunday. The flight faced snag with its landing gear. Smoke and sparks were seen coming from a wheel after it landed, stated the airport officials. The flight SV 3112, had departed from Jeddah at 10.45 pm on Saturday and landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow around 6.30 am on Sunday.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) officials were immediately alerted by the pilot and the plane was pushed back and moved to the taxiway. All the passengers were inside the aircraft during the landing and were evacuated safely. The spark was doused off by the emergency response team within 20 minutes.
