About November 10- Delhi Blast near Red Fort
PM Modi on Delhi Blast: PM Modi said that he was in touch “throughout last night” with all the agencies investigating the incident. A powerful explosion tore through a slow-moving car near the Red Fort metro station at 6:52 pm, killing nine people and injuring 20 others. The blast occurred in a white Hyundai i20 and damaged several vehicles in one of Delhi’s busiest areas.
According to sources, the car belonged to Umar Mohammad, a resident of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, who is believed to have been driving it when the explosion took place. Umar, a doctor by profession, was reportedly part of a radical group of doctors that communicated through Telegram and had links to the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
