What have the non-political indicators felt about the possibility of the Aam Aadmi Party winning the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025? What have surveys found feeling the pulse of the voters? Will the AAP remain in power? Will the BJP win the Delhi Elections for the first time in the state after its shocking victory in the neighbouring state of Haryana a few months back?
After the talks between the AAP and Congress over the seat-sharing formula in Delhi collapsed and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the decision to go alone, the grand old party came out on the street, attacking the ruling party with hammers and tongs.
Rahul Gandhi Targets Arvind Kejriwal
Congress also added excitement to the poll campaign in the national capital by fielding candidates in all 70 constituencies and bringing forward veterans like two-time MP Sandip Dixit.

To make the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 more exciting, Rahul Gandhi hit the streets and targeted none less than Arvind Kejriwal, risking a rift in the Opposition coalition of INDIA.
However, “satta bazaar” (speculative market) has shown that the grand old party is nowhere near the ruling party AAP, or the main Opposition party BJP despite its pyrotechnics and rhetoric.
Phalodi Satta Bazaar Predicts AAP Win
According to Phalodi Satta Bazaar of Rajasthan, the AAP is most likely to win 39 to 41 seats while the BJP may settle down with 29 to 31 seats. It has not made any prediction for the Congress.
Phalodi Satta Bazaar hit the headlines last time when it correctly predicted the results of nine Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan in 2024. It’s predictions about Churu, Jodhpur, Jalore, Kota, Jaipur Rural, Barmer, Nagaur, and Ganga Nagar proved correct.
After, Phalodi, Mahadev Satta Bazaar of Delhi too predicted the victory of the AAP.
It is interesting to note that both of the satta bazaars have predicted the victory of the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, though with decreased seats.
C-Voter: 51% Voters Favour AAP
If media reports are to be believed, C-Voter has found in its survey that 51% of those contacted for the opinion poll, have favoured the AAP to win the election, while 41% talked about a change in the government.
It also said that those wanting to change the government would go for the BJP instead of the Congress. The vote share and the number of seats of the BJP may up considerably due to voters’ dilemma.
The BJP has upped the ante by bringing forward star campaigners, controversial leaders, caste equations related to Gurjars, and possible polarisation by raking up the Hindutva issues.
The saffron party has already brought forward the ghost of Afzal Guru in an attempt to put Delhi Chief Minister Atishi in the dock.
The polling will be held on February 5, and the results for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 will be declared on February 8, but the satta bazaars and firms doing opinion polls have made the situation ample clear.
