Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 LIVE: Polling began across all seventy Assembly constituencies in Delhi today, February 5, 2025. This time a total of 699 candidates are eyeing for votes. The much-anticipated elections could potentially alter the political landscape of Delhi. This election allows voters to decide whether they want the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to have a comeback for a third consecutive term or give the BJP or Congress hope for political resurgence. Voting will be held across 13,766 polling stations today, with counting of votes scheduled for February 8. Over 30,000 police personnel and more than 200 companies of paramilitary forces are stationed at the polling booths. Additionally, the Queue Management System (QMS) app, launched by the Election Commission allows voters to check crowd levels in real-time. The toughest election battle has top leaders like Ramesh Bidhuri, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Parvesh Verma, Gopal Rai, etc in the fray.
