Delhi is going to hold its assembly election on February 5, 2025. The results of the elections will be out on February 8, 2025. For this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has released the manifesto.
BJP has announced that they will be giving a subsidy of Rs 500 on LPG. Not only this, but they announced that they will be giving Rs 2500 per month to the women. This will be given if they come to power in Delhi under the Mahila Samridhi Scheme. The party promised to roll out the scheme in their first cabinet meeting after they come to power, as per media reports.
Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda said, “The maternity leave has been extended from 12 weeks to 26 weeks. We have decided to give Rs 2,500 monthly aid for women in Delhi under the ‘Mahila Samridhi Yojana’ if the party voted to power.”

He further mentioned that, “We made 500 promises in 2014 and 499 from them were delivered. In 2019, we pledged 235 promises and fulfilled 225, and the rest were in the implementation stage. Our objective remains good governance, development, women’s empowerment, and farmers’ progress. As per NITI Aayog, 25 crore people have risen above the Below Poverty Line. All welfare schemes currently running in Delhi will continue under a BJP government.”
JP Nadda said that, “The ‘Sankalp Patra’ will put the foundation of ‘Viksit Delhi.'”

The elections for 70 seats in Delhi will be held in the first week of February and the result will be out on February 8, 2025. The election will take place in a single phase.
Here are the key points by BJP in their Manifesto for Delhi Assembly elections 2025:
- One free cylinder will be given on Every Diwali and Holi.
- Subsidy of Rs 500 will be given on LPG Cylinders for poor women in Delhi.
- Rs 2500 per month will be given women under Mahila Samridhi Scheme.
- The pension for the senior citizens (60-70 years of age) will be raised from Rs 2000 to Rs 2500.
- The Ayushman Bharat Scheme will get implemented in the first cabinet meeting after they come in power.
- Rs 21,000 will be allotted to the pregnant women.
