Delhi traffic police on Monday issued a traffic diversion in connection with the Delhi Legislative Assembly election, said police, adding that the diversion will be in place on February 4 and 5.
Due to the heavy movement of buses and official vehicles related to the Delhi Legislative Assembly Election-2025 at the Strong Room-cum-Counting Centre at Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School (GBSSS), Badli, Delhi, traffic movement will be restricted on the following roads, said traffic police in an advisory.

Restricted Roads:
1. Dr. MC Davar Marg (Rohini Jail Road)
2. Badli Road (from NCC Bhawan to B-4 Road/Manav Marg)
Timings of Restrictions:
3. 04.02.2025: From 06:00 AM to 11:30 PM And 05.02.2025: From 05:00 PM onwards
Instructions To Commuters:
1. Avoid the affected route to prevent delays.
2. Use alternate routes mentioned above.
3. Allow extra travel time if traveling to nearby areas.
4. Use public transport wherever possible to help reduce traffic congestion.

5. Outer Ring Road → Dr. K.N. Katju Marg + B-4 Road (Manav Marg), Sector-15, Rohini
6. Mukarba Chowk + SC Transport Nagar → Badli Industrial Area + SP Badli-Bawana Road + Sector-18/19 Metro Station,

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
Swami Narayan Marg (Ashok Vihar, Delhi)
Timing: On 4th February 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, February 5th 5:00 PM onwards, Till 6:00 AM On 6th February.
The road will remain closed to facilitate the secure dispatch of EVMs from Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Bharat Nagar.
ALTERNATE ROUTES:
For those traveling towards Nanak Piau Gurudwara, please consider taking:
GT Road from Azadpur
For traveling towards Inderlok, take Maharaja Nahar Singh Marg from Prembari Pull
These alternative routes will help mitigate congestion and enhance safety during the transportation operations.
Traffic Restrictions From Kanjhawala Chowk To Gherva road:
Effective timings:On 4th February from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, February 5th from 5:00 PM onwards till 6:00 AM on 6th February, 2025.
The road section from Kanjhawala Chowk to Ghevra Village will be heavily regulated to ensure secure movement of EVM carrying vehicles.
All commuters are advised to avoid this route to prevent delays and traffic congestion.
