According to Special CP HGS Dhariwal of the Delhi Police, the action was initiated against the fugitive on the Home Minister’s orders. It is a remarkable accomplishment that (a criminal) has been brought from a place like Mexico for the first time through coordinated action.

Dhariwal stated that the Delhi Police Special Cell had been watching him (gangster Deepak Boxer) for long months. There is no larger gangster in Delhi-NCR than him. This has been worked on by numerous teams.

The boxer was apprehended in Mexico by a special team of Delhi Police, assisted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The Delhi Police have apprehended a gangster outside of India for the first time. Deepak Boxer was on the run in August 2022 after committing a murder.

Amit Gupta, a builder, was shot many times on a major route in Delhi’s Civil Lines neighbourhood. In a Facebook post, the boxer claimed that he murdered Gupta and that the purpose was vengeance, not money.

Deepak Boxer used forged passport to flee

Deepak Boxer also alleged the realtor was associated with a rival gang, the Tillu Tajpuria gang. He said that Amit Gupta was the gang’s financier. Deepak Boxer was the leader of the Gogi gang, a post he took after the death of Jitendra Gogi in 2021.

According to police, the boxer used a forged passport to flee the country. On the 29th of January, he flew from Kolkata to Mexico. Kindly inform Deepak Boxer that the Delhi Police has issued a reward of three lakh rupees.

Who is Deepak Boxer?

Deepak Boxer is a 27-year-old criminal who took over the Gogi gang after Jitendra Gogi was assassinated in September 2021. He rose to prominence in 2016 after obtaining Gogi’s release from police custody in Haryana.
