New Delhi: Just after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday named the place where Chandrayaan 3 landed- Shiv Shakti, the political commenting over it has started.
While leaders from opposition parties, and Islamic scholars are criticizing the move, BJP allies and many Hindu outfits have welcomed the nomination.
Meanwhile, Hindu Mahasabha President Swami Chakrapani made a controversial comment over the ongoing issue. According to the news agency ANI, Swami Chakrapani said, “Even before the people of Jihadi mentality reach the moon, the moon should be declared a Hindu nation and Shivshakti Point should be made the capital of the Hindu nation.”
We are considering ‘Shiv-Shakti’ as Shiv-Shakti Dham. I am sending a letter for the same to the government on behalf of Hindu Mahasabha and Sant Mahasabha, he said further.
Swami Chakrapani said that they have passed a resolution to build a temple of Lord Shiva, goddess Parvati, and Lord Ganesha at the point when commuting to the moon becomes easier. The priest also demanded to declare Shiv-Shakti Point as the capital of Hindu Rashtra on the moon.
