CRPF Jawan’s Pakistani Wife Among Those Sent Back After Pahalgam Attack- Her Tearful Plea While Leaving For Wagah

According to officials, Minal Khan left for the Wagah border in Punjab from Jammu with her husband and CRPF jawan Munir Khan, a resident of Gharota, Kashmir. He said that Minal and Munir became friends through social media, and later, both of them got married to each other.

India’s retaliatory measures following the Pahalgam terror attack also impacted many Pakistani citizens who had been living in India after marriage. The government forced mothers, fathers, grandmothers, children, spouses, cousins, and other relatives to leave the country as part of its diplomatic downgrading of ties with Pakistan. Among them, authorities sent the Pakistani wife of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan back to her native place.

While leaving for the Wagah border, Minal appealed to the Indian government not to separate Pakistani citizens married to Indian nationals from their children. She said, “We should be allowed to live with our families.” Minal also condemned the barbaric killing of innocent people in the Pahalgam attack, stating that the attackers should be given the harshest punishment.
