Manish Kashyap: Bihar’s famous YouTuber Manish Kashyap, who is lodged in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai jail, was brought to Bihar on Monday by Saptkranti train amid tight security arrangements for a court hearing.
At Betia station, slogans were raised in support of him and flowers were showered by his supporters. Manish Kashyap was arrested in March for the purported circulation of misleading videos related to alleged violence in Tamil Nadu and misbehaviour with workers from Bihar.

Manish Kashyap is lodged in Tamil Nadu jail for more than 4 months. Manish Kashyap surrendered on March 18 at the Jagdishpur police station in Bettiah. Manish Kashyap was accused of spreading misleading news of alleged violence with migrant labourers in Tamil Nadu and was absconding.
A similar case was also registered in Tamil Nadu. For which the Tamil Nadu police had also reached Patna and took him to the southern state for trial.
Order to keep in Bettiah Jail
While hearing the matter, the CJM ordered to keep Manish Kashyap in Bettiah jail itself. He was currently prevented from being taken to Tamil Nadu. Manish has to be produced before the Judicial Magistrate today in a separate matter.
