Covid Update: India on Thursday witnessed a steep rise in corona active cases. Total 1,112 new cases of corona have been reported in the country on Thursday. Compared to Wednesday, there has been increase of 282 in the daily cases of corona in the country. 830 cases reported on Wednesday. On the other hand, 1892 people recovered on Wednesday.
In the last 24 hours, 1112 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. There is rise of 282 covid cases on Thursday. More than 1,000 covid cases reported in India after the steep decline in covid cases.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on thursday morning, 1112 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. While 1891 people managed to beat the corona virus. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country stood at 20821.
With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 ,46 ,42 ,768. While the number of people recovering has increased to 4,40,97,072.
Recovery rate
According to the information given by the Ministry of Health, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.77 percent. At the same time, active cases comprise 0.77 percent of the total infection.
219.58 cr Total Vaccine doses (95.01 cr Second Dose and 22.05 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 90.04 cr Total Tests conducted so far; 1,44,491 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
Vaccination coverage exceeds 219.570 Cr
India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.58 Cr (2,19,58,84,786) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022. So far, more than 4.12 Cr (4,12,39,308) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Similarly, the COVID-19 precaution dose administration for age group 18-59 years also started from 10th April, 2022 onwards.
