Covid Update: India on Tuesday reported total 3,038 new cases and 7 deaths in 24 hours. There is continuous rise in Covid cases for last few days. However, the cases declined on Tuesday as compared to the Monday’s data. But the number of cases has crossed the 3000 mark.
The state governments have taken measures to curb rising cases. The rising Covid cases have cleared all the speculations of its ending. The continuous increase in Covid cases has been witnessed for the last 8 days.
3,038 new cases in 24 hours
The country is once again witnessing a spurt in the new cases. However, as compared to yesterday, a slight decline has been recorded in the daily cases in the country on Tuesday. Today 3,038 new cases have been reported in the country. During this, there is news of death of 7 people. 2 deaths have been recorded in Punjab, 1 in Uttarakhand, 1 in Maharashtra, 1 in Jammu and 2 in Delhi. Earlier on Monday, 3,641 new cases were reported in the country while 11 people died. In this way, a decline of 503 has been registered in the new cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning (April 4, 2023), 3038 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, there is news of death of 7 people due to Corona Update. At the same time, 2069 people were successful in defeating the corona virus infection, that is, they became healthy. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has crossed 21,000. Today the number of active cases of corona in the country has increased to 21,179. In this way, a rise of 960 has been recorded in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.
Significantly, there has been an increase of 7.5 times in the active cases in the country in the last one month. On March 3, the number of active patients was 2 thousand 686, which has increased to 21 thousand 179 on Monday. This number is the highest since October. Earlier on October 23, the active cases were 20 thousand 601.

The number of Covid infected in the country is 4,47,29,284
With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 47 lakh 29 thousand 284. While the number of people getting cured has increased to 4 crore 41 lakh 77 thousand 204. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 899 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.
