Covid-19 Update: India on Thursday recorded fresh 9,335 Covid-19 cases , taking the number of active infections to 57,410 in the last 24 hours, according to Union health Ministry. Total 19 deaths are recorded in last 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am on Thursday said.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 4.08 while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 5.36. The total tally of Covid cases is at 4.49 crore (4,49,18,628).
The active cases now comprise 0.15 per cent of the total infections while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.67, according to the ministry website. Fatality rate was recorded at 1.18%.
9,335 new cases in 24 hours
For the last few days, the country is once again witnessing a spurt in the Covid cases. As compared to yesterday, a fall of 274 has been recorded in the daily cases in the country on Thursday. Today 9335 new cases have been reported in the country. Earlier on Wednesday, 9629 new cases were reported in the country while 19 people died. A fall of 274 Covid cases has been registered in the new daily case in the last 24 hours.

Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.69 percent. While the death rate remains at 1.18 percent. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
