Covid-19 Update: India on Monday reported 3,641 new cases and two deaths in 24 hours. There has been spurt in Covid cases for the last several weeks. Earlier, Covid-19 was on the verge of ending. But this sudden and consistence covid cases rise nullified all the speculation.
3,641 new cases in single day
For the last few days, the country is once again witnessing a spurt in Covid cases. However, as compared to yesterday, a slight decline has been recorded in the daily cases of corona in the country today. Today 3641 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. During this, 11 people have died due to corona infection. Earlier on Sunday, 3824 new cases of corona were reported in the country while 4 people died. That is, today 183 fewer new cases of corona have been reported in the country as compared to yesterday. On the other hand, 2994 new cases of corona were reported in the country on Saturday while there was news of death of 9 people. On the other hand, 3095 new cases of corona had come in the country on Friday, while 5 people had died.
Covid status
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning (2 April 2023), 3641 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, there is news of death of 11 people due to Corona Update. At the same time, 1800 people were successful in defeating the corona virus infection, that is, they became healthy. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has crossed 20,000. Today the number of active cases of corona in the country has increased to 20,219. In this way, a rise of 2035 has been registered in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

The number of corona infected in the country is 4,47,26,459
With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 47 lakh 26 thousand 459. While the number of people getting cured has increased to 4 crore 41 lakh 75 thousand 135. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 892 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the daily positive rate is currently 2.87 percent and the weekly positive rate is 2.24 percent. The number of people recovering from Corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.77 percent. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. At the same time, active cases comprise 0.04 percent of the total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
