Covid-19 Update: India on Tuesday recorded fresh 3,325 Covid-19 cases, taking down the number of active infections to 47,246 in the last 24 hours, according to Union health Ministry. Total 17 deaths are recorded in last 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am on Tuesday said.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 4.92% while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 4%. The total tally of Covid cases is at 4.49 crore (4,49,49,671).
The active cases now comprise 0.11 per cent of the total infections while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has been recorded at 98.71, according to the ministry website. Fatality rate was recorded at 1.18%.
3,325 new cases in 24 hours
For the last few days, the country is once again witnessing a decline in the Covid cases. As compared to yesterday, a fall of 957 has been recorded in the daily cases in the country on Tuesday. Today 3,325 new cases have been reported in the country. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has come down from 49,015 to 47,246. In this way, a decrease of 957 has been registered in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

Union Health Ministry Data says
According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the daily positive rate is currently 4.92 percent and the weekly positive rate is 4.00 percent. At the same time, active cases comprise 0.11 percent of the total infections. The number of people recovering from Corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.71 percent. While the death rate remains at 1.18 percent. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.66 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
