Covid cases on rise in India

Covid 19 Update: The global pandemic Covid-19 seems to be slowly dying in India and has also reached the verge of extinction. But amidst the change in the weather, once again the cases of corona have started increasing slightly in the country. For the last six days, more than 150 new cases of corona have been reported continuously in the country. It is after a long time that more than 150 new cases of corona are being reported continuously in the country. Earlier, less than 100 new cases of corona were being reported in the country in 24 hours. On Sunday (26 February 2023), 218 new cases of corona were reported in the country.

169 new cases in 24 hours

For the last few days, once again a slight increase in the cases of Corona is being seen in the country. However, as compared to yesterday, there has been a slight decrease in the daily cases of corona in the country. Today 169 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. During this, there was news of death of one person due to corona infection. This case of death has come from Kerala. Earlier on Monday, 185 new cases of corona had come in the country on Monday, while during that time there was news of death of one person. That is, today 16 fewer new cases of corona have been reported in the country as compared to yesterday.

Covid on decline

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning (28 February 2023), 169 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, one person died due to corona infection. While during this period 140 people were able to beat the corona virus infection, that is, they became healthy. With this, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 2257 in the country. In this way, a rise of 28 has been recorded in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

Total cases in the country is 4,46,86,371

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 86 thousand 371. While the number of people getting cured has increased to a total of 4 crore 41 lakh 53 thousand 343. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 771 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.81 percent. The daily positivity rate is 0.05% and the weekly positivity rate is 0.07%. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. Whereas active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.63 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

Let us tell you that on August 9, 2020, the number of people infected with the corona virus in India had crossed 20 lakhs, on August 23, 2020, 30 lakhs and on September 5, 2020, more than 40 lakhs. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. Last year on May 4, the number of infected had crossed two crore and on June 23, 2021, it crossed three crore. On January 25 this year, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores.
