Covid-19 Update: Covid-19 cases are increasing for the last few months in China, South Korea, America and Japan. But it is declining mode in India. On Friday, there is relief news for India on the fronts of Covid-19 cases as 99 new cases of Covi-19 have been reported in India within 24 hours.

99 new cases in 24 hours

The virus has reduced in India considerably. For the last one month, there is a continuous decline in the graph of Covid. As compared to Thursday, a decline has been recorded in the daily cases in the country on Friday. Today 99 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. While there is news of death of one person due to corona infection during this period. Earlier on Thursday, 132 new cases of Covid had come in the country on Thursday, while one person infected with the virus had died. That is, today 33 fewer new cases of Covid have been reported as compared to yesterday.

Covid-19 on decline in India

According to the data released this morning (27 January 2023) by the Ministry of Health, 99 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. There is news of death of one person due to corona infection. Whereas during this period 108 people managed to beat the corona virus infection. With this, the number of active cases of corona in the country has come down to 1 thousand 896. In the last 24 hours, a decrease of 10 has been registered in the number of active cases.

The number of corona infected in the country is 4,46,82,437

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 82 thousand 437. While the number of people getting cured has increased to a total of 4 crore 41 lakh 49 thousand 802. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 739 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

Covid Status in India

  • Total active cases now – 1 thousand 896
  • Total infected so far – 4 crore 46 lakh 82 thousand 437
  • Total discharge so far – 4 crore 41 lakh 49 thousand 802
  • Total deaths so far – 5 lakh 30 thousand 739

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.81 percent. The daily positivity rate is 0.10% and the weekly positivity rate is 0.08%. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. Whereas active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.35 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

Let us tell you that on August 9, 2020, the number of people infected with the corona virus in India had crossed 20 lakhs, on August 23, 2020, 30 lakhs and on September 5, 2020, more than 40 lakhs. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. Last year on May 4, the number of infected had crossed two crore and on June 23, 2021, it crossed three crore. On January 25 this year, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores.
