Covid-19 Update: Global pandemic has once again started spreading its tentacles across the country. There has been continuous rise in cases for the last several days. Earlier, people were of the view that Covid-19 is on ending mode in India. But increasing case is set back for Indians. Over 1500 new cases have been reported on Tuesday across the Country. In the last 24 hour, India registered total 1573 new Covid cases. However, there is marginally decrease in new cases compared to Monday numbers

1,573 new cases in 24 hours

The country is again witnessing a spurt in the Covid cases. However, as compared to Monday, there has been a slight decrease in the daily cases in the country on Tuesday. Today 1,573 new cases have been reported in the country. During this, there is news of death of 4 people due to the infection. All four cases of death have come from Kerala. Earlier on Monday, 1805 new cases of corona had come in the country, while 6 people died during this period. That is, today 232 fewer new cases of corona have been reported in the country as compared to yesterday.

Covid is back

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health this morning (28 March 2023), 1573 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, there is news of death of 4 people due to Corona Update. At the same time, 888 people were successful in defeating the corona virus infection, that is, they became healthy. With this, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 10,981 in the country. In this way, a rise of 681 has been recorded in the number of active cases in the last 24 hours.

Covid cases hit 4,47,07,525

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 47 lakh 07 thousand 525. While the number of people getting cured has increased to 4 crore 41 lakh 65 thousand 703. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 841 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the daily positive rate is currently 1.30 percent and the weekly positive rate is 1.47 percent. The number of people recovering from Corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.79 percent. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. At the same time, active cases comprise 0.02 percent of the total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.65 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
