Congress MPs will take out a march from Parliament House to Vijay Chowk in Delhi and will also gherao PM Modi's residence.

New Delhi: The Congress will take to the streets today due to rising inflation and unemployment in the country. The Congress has called a nationwide protest today.

Congress workers will protest against the central government in many parts of the country today. All Congress MPs will also participate in the demonstration.

Congress MPs will take out a march from Parliament House to Vijay Chowk in Delhi and will also gherao PM Modi’s residence.

Congress leader Alka Lamba said that in Himachal Pradesh too there will be a protest outside the Raj Bhavan. She said that the whole country is battling inflation and unemployment.

“The Congress is on the streets against the policies of the BJP government. The central government wants to suppress the opposition by misusing the ED, but we are not afraid,” she said.

Delhi Police issues advisory

In view of the demonstrations by the Congress, the Delhi Police has issued a new advisory. It was said in the advisory that traffic may be affected in many areas in Delhi.

Security bolstered in Delhi

Security has been tightened in Delhi in view of the protests by the Congress. The Delhi Police have put up barricades on Akbar Road. Section 144 has been imposed in New Delhi area except Jantar Mantar.
