Congress: Rahul Gandhi’s Illness Forces Last-Minute Changes To Mega INDIA Rally In Ranchi

Veteran congress party leader Jairam Ramesh announced that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will not address election rallies in Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand today due to his illness.

Congress Chief Will Not Be Present

The opposition alliance had planned a massive show of strength today with Rahul Gandhi scheduled to campaign in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, and Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Mr. Ramesh, speaking on X (formerly known as Twitter), announced that Rahul Gandhi has fallen ill and is currently unable to depart from Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will address the Ranchi rally after participating in a public gathering in Satna.

Ahead of the mega rally, organizers have put up posters of INDIA bloc leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, party MP Rahul Gandhi, AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and his wife Kalpana Soren in Ranchi.

Other speakers expected to address the rally in Ranchi include Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad, Sunita Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal’s wife), and Kalpana Soren (Hemant Soren’s wife), in addition to Mr. Kharge.
