New Delhi: On the occasion of Independence Day, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has issued a statement and congratulated the countrymen. In her statement, Sonia Gandhi has said that in the last 75 years, we have achieved a lot but the present government is adamant on proving insignificant the great sacrifices of freedom fighters and the glorious achievements of the country, this cannot be accepted.

India has made a global mark in every field in 75 years: Sonia Gandhi

Sonia Gandhi in her statement said that the Indian National Congress will oppose every attempt to question the great national leaders like Gandhi-Nehru-Patel-Azad on the basis of false statements and false statements made on historical facts for political gains. She said that in the last 75 years, India has made a global mark in science, education, health, information technology and other fields through the hard work of talented Indians.

India has strengthened democracy and constitutional institutions: Sonia Gandhi
