New Delhi: On the occasion of Independence Day, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has issued a statement and congratulated the countrymen. In her statement, Sonia Gandhi has said that in the last 75 years, we have achieved a lot but the present government is adamant on proving insignificant the great sacrifices of freedom fighters and the glorious achievements of the country, this cannot be accepted.

India has made a global mark in every field in 75 years: Sonia Gandhi
Sonia Gandhi in her statement said that the Indian National Congress will oppose every attempt to question the great national leaders like Gandhi-Nehru-Patel-Azad on the basis of false statements and false statements made on historical facts for political gains. She said that in the last 75 years, India has made a global mark in science, education, health, information technology and other fields through the hard work of talented Indians.

India has strengthened democracy and constitutional institutions: Sonia Gandhi
He has said that India has established a free, fair and transparent election system under the leadership of its visionary leaders, while on the one hand it has strengthened democracy and constitutional institutions. Along with this, India has made its proud identity as a leading country that has always lived up to the pluralistic test of language-religion-sect.
