The Delhi Police Special Cell uncovered a major drug trafficking operation on Thursday, confiscating 200 kg of cocaine from a warehouse in Ramesh Nagar. The street value of the seized drugs is estimated at Rs 2,000 crore.
GPS Technology Helps Bust Drug Syndicate
The police tracked down the cocaine using GPS technology installed in the car used for transportation. This led them to the Ramesh Nagar warehouse, where the drugs were recovered. Officials stated that the suspect responsible for transporting the drugs has escaped to London.

Linked to October 2 Drug Cartel Seizure
This recent bust is tied to a larger drug network, as police had earlier seized 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana valued at Rs 5,620 crore on October 2 in Mahipalpur, Delhi. Several suspects were arrested, including four at the scene and others later in Amritsar and Chennai.
Lookout Circular Issued for Dubai-Based Businessman
Delhi Police have issued a lookout circular (LOC) for Virender Basoya, a Dubai-based Indian businessman believed to be connected to the Rs 5,620 crore drug cartel. He remains a key suspect in the ongoing investigation.
