In a shocking incident from Jaipur, Rajasthan, a Christmas party took a tragic turn as a dispute between two couples escalated, leading to a girl being crushed by an SUV. The victim’s friend, also involved in the altercation, sustained critical injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment. The perpetrator who drove the car remains at large, prompting a police search based on available CCTV footage.

The incident transpired in the Jawahar Circle area of Jaipur. Uma Suthar and Rajkumar were attending a Christmas party at a resto-bar on SL Road on Monday night. Rajkumar, a co-owner of the establishment, and Uma returned to the restaurant after observing ongoing work on the terrace around 11 o’clock to have dinner.

Altercation Unfolds
Mangesh, accompanied by his girlfriend, was present at the same venue, indulging in drinks. As the night progressed, Mangesh started making inappropriate comments. When Rajkumar intervened, Mangesh claimed familiarity with the couple. Subsequently, all four engaged in a conversation during which Mangesh attempted to touch Uma. Around 5 in the morning, Uma and Rajkumar exited the venue, with Mangesh and his girlfriend following suit.
Tragic Turn of Events
A confrontation ensued, and as tensions escalated, Mangesh departed from the scene. While Rajkumar and Uma waited for a cab, Mangesh returned with an SUV, striking both of them. The injured victims were rushed to the hospital by restaurant staff, but Uma succumbed to her injuries. Currently, Rajkumar is undergoing medical treatment.
Police Investigation and Accused on the Run
The police have registered a case against Mangesh, who is currently evading authorities. The investigation includes the examination of CCTV footage to gather more insights into the incident. Uma, the deceased, originally hailed from Madhya Pradesh and worked in Jaipur. The search for Mangesh is ongoing since he went on the run following the tragic event.
