Bihar: In Bihar, a shocking incident has surfaced in which a five-year-old boy brought a handgun to his school on Wednesday and fired at another child, injuring a Class 3 student, according to the police. The incident occurred in Supaul, a district in north Bihar, where a nursery student brought a firearm concealed in his bag to school.

Superintendent of Police Shaishav Yadav stated that the student fired at a 10-year-old boy in Class 3, hitting him in the arm. He later added that the injured boy has been taken to a hospital. Authorities are investigating how the boy obtained the firearm and brought it to the private school in the Lalpatti area.

Local residents mentioned that the accused student’s father previously worked as a security guard at the school. The incident occurred before the school prayer.

The Superintendent of Police said that the schools across the district are being asked to regularly check students’ bags thoroughly. The incident has caused significant anxiety among parents and guardians.
