The incident occurred in Supaul, a district in north Bihar, where a nursery student brought a firearm concealed in his bag to school.

Superintendent of Police Shaishav Yadav stated that the student fired at a 10-year-old boy in Class 3, hitting him in the arm. He later added that the injured boy has been taken to a hospital. Authorities are investigating how the boy obtained the firearm and brought it to the private school in the Lalpatti area.
Local residents mentioned that the accused student’s father previously worked as a security guard at the school. The incident occurred before the school prayer.
