Chardham Yatra 2023: Chardham Yatra is starting in Uttarakhand on Saturday on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and Lord Parshuram Jayanti. The doors of Gangotri Dham will be opened at 12:35 pm for the devottes. The temple is decorated with flowers. At the same time, the branch of Mother Yamuna left from Kharsali.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the departure of Maa Yamuna’s doli from village Kharsali. During this, flowers were showered on the devotees from the helicopter. CM worshiped on the occasion of opening of the gate of Yamunotri dham. The doors of Yamunotri Dham will open at 12:41 pm.
Till April 21, 16 lakh people have registered for the yatra. The Uttarakhand government has removed the ban on visiting the prescribed number of pilgrims. The portals of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April and Badrinath Dham on 27 April.
Chief Mnister Dhami said that Char Dham Yatra has started from Yamunotri Dham on Saturday. I congratulate everyone and this time the journey will be full of joy. If any devotee comes here, everyone will be shown darshan, so the system of capping has been abolished.
Badrinath Highway in Chamoli starts
Badrinath highway was closed due to boulder near Birhi village in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Which has now been started by the administration. Recently, on Wednesday snowfall lashed Chamoli district. Due to this, Badrinath Dham was covered with a thick sheet of snow.
Snow removal work has already started in Badrinath Dham. The snow accumulated on the footpaths around the temple premises is being cleared by the PWD and BKTC. At the same time, BKTC is also engaged in making travel arrangements. There has been heavy snowfall on Neelkanth mountain and Nar Narayan mountain in Badrinath Dham. After which there is severe cold in the Dham. There is 1 to 2 feet of snow in Puri Badri Puri.
