Chaos Erupts On Delhi-Vadodara Air India Flight As Fake ‘Bomb’ Note Discovered In Toilet
Panic erupted on a Delhi-Vadodara Air India flight at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport when a crew member found a tissue paper with the word "bomb" written on it in the plane's restroom, as per police reports released on Thursday.
On Wednesday evening, the incident occurred, leading to an immediate search of the flight. However, authorities found no suspicious items during the investigation, as confirmed by a police officer.
The alarming find occurred just as the flight was gearing up for takeoff at 7 pm, escalating worries among both passengers and crew members. Upon discovering the tissue paper, the crew swiftly notified authorities, leading to the involvement of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Delhi Police.

In response to the perceived threat, passengers were promptly instructed to deplane as security personnel conducted a comprehensive search of the aircraft. Despite the thorough inspection, no traces of explosives or any other dubious items were discovered on board.
After receiving clearance from security officials, passengers were redirected to their destination using another aircraft, ensuring their safety and allowing them to continue their travel plans without further delay.
Following bomb threat emails targeting multiple hospitals in Delhi, as well as the Indira Gandhi International Airport, on Sunday, subsequent investigations by the Delhi Police determined the threats to be unfounded. Two weeks prior, over 150 schools across Delhi-NCR also received hoax threat emails, leading to extensive police intervention.
