Recent reports indicate that the effects of winter are becoming evident, with cold winds and a drop in temperatures observed in various parts of the country. The onset of winter is marked by recent snowfall in hilly areas, contributing to a chill that has started permeating the plains.
Weather Conditions in Delhi-NCR
Following a night of rainfall on November 10, Delhi experienced a noticeable increase in chill, with cold winds sweeping through the city on Sunday morning. Jammu and Kashmir’s higher reaches experienced snowfall, causing road blockages due to heavy rain in the plains. Scattered rain is anticipated in West Bengal and Sikkim, while light rain may occur in Arunachal Pradesh.
Southern States and Rainfall
Southern states are also witnessing changes in weather conditions. Reports suggest light rain in the region over the next two days, with cloudy skies expected in Chennai and Bengaluru.
