Bengaluru: Launching of Chandrayaan-3 is scheduled to take place on July 14 at 2:35 PM, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman S Somnath informed on Thursday. Speaking to reporters during the G20 Space economy leaders meeting, the ISRO chairman said that if everything went well, the satellite would land on August 23. The chairman said that the time and date of landing would be decided based on when would be the sunrise on the moon. "Moon has 15 days of sunrise, and we will have to land there at 23 which is the first day of sunlight....If we fail then we will not land and wait for another month," said S Somnath.
