Delhi Blast: Sanjay Bhargaw, president of the Market Association, has announced that the Chandni Chowk market in Delhi will be closed on Tuesday following a high-intensity explosion that occurred yesterday evening in the Red Fort area, resulting in 13 deaths and 24 injuries.

The crowded Old Delhi area of the nation’s capital is home to both the Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk bazaar. The Red Fort is one of Delhi’s most-preferred tourist attractions, while Chandni Chowk market is one of the city’s biggest and oldest markets and a popular tourist destination. After the blast dead bodies and destroyed cars were all over the place, which happened at around 7 p.m. close to Red Fort Metro Station. According to Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, there were people inside the “slow-moving vehicle that stopped at the red light” when the explosion happened.

The decision was made to close Chandni Chowk Market after a car explosion near Red Fort Metro Station resulted in ten deaths and several injuries.
