New Delhi: After the violence in many states on Ram Navami, the Central Government issued an advisory a day before Hanuman Jayanti, the Union Home Ministry asked all state governments to be alert to maintain law and order.

The ministry, in advisory, said that law and order should be maintained for peace in all the states. Police have been asked to keep a strict vigil on the elements that disturb social harmony.

On the other hand, the Calcutta High Court also gave strict instructions to the Bengal government on Tuesday. The High Court said that the Bengal government should maintain the security system in the state and deploy central security forces if needed. The High Court clearly ordered that Shobha Yatra should not be taken out in the areas where Section 144 has been imposed after the violence.

The incident of Communal clashes was reported in West Bengal, Bihar Maharashtra and other parts of the country during the Ram Navami celebrations on March 30.
