Investigation Underway
In their efforts to determine the cause of the explosion, police collected mobile network data to identify individuals who were present in the area at the time. Initial assessments suggest that the explosion may have been caused by a crude bomb.
Forensic experts inspecting the site discovered a suspicious “white powder,” which has been sent to a laboratory for further analysis. They also dug up soil samples near the school wall for examination. A senior officer indicated that it is too early to conclude the nature of the substance, stating, “Whether it is some kind of explosive or anything else can only be ascertained after we thoroughly examine it. We are suspecting a crude bomb.”

Given the ongoing festival season, Delhi Police is already on high alert. The police have filed a case under the Explosives Act, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
