Which State Performed Well
Among all regions, Kerala's Trivandrum and Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada topped the list with an impressive pass rate of 99.79%. How Many Students Appeared?
This year, 23,85,079 students registered for the exam, with 23,71,939 appearing for it, and 22,21,636 passing. The overall pass percentage stands at 93.66%, reflecting a modest increase of 0.06% compared to 2024. As in previous years, girls have outperformed boys, leading by over 2.37 percentage points. Official reports indicate that 95% of girls successfully cleared the exam.

This year, nearly 26,675 schools participated in the board exams, with 7,837 exam centres established across the country. In comparison, last year, 25,724 schools and 7,603 centres took part.
