New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a new case against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi’s former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia over alleged corruption in the Feedback unit of the Delhi government(FBU).
The Feedback unit was founded in 2015 by the AAP after it came into power for the second time.

Reacting to another case registered by CBI against jailed AAP leader, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal labelled the move as “sad for the country”.
“The PM’s plan is to slap several false cases against Manish and keep him in custody for a long period. Sad for the country,” Kejriwal tweeted.
The Union Home Ministry, In February, gave its consent to prosecute Manish Sisodia under the prevention of Corruption Act. CBI, in its report, claimed that Mr Sisodia was using the Feedback unit(FBU) as a tool for political snooping

Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI last month in connection with alleged irregularities in framing Delhi’s new liquor excise policy later on the Enforcement Directorate remanded him for alleged money laundering in the same case.
Delhi’s new liquor policy was scrapped after The Lieutenant Governor ordered a CBI probe.
