Uttar Pradesh BJP leader Babban Singh came under fire after a video showing him with an orchestra dancer kissing and groping her went viral on social media.
Video of BJP leader went viral
In the viral clip, the dancer is sitting on the BJP leader’s lap, and he is seen inappropriately touching the dancer. The 70-year-old leader is also seen kissing and groping her.
BJP leader described himself as a victim
Now, the BJP leader described himself as a victim of conspiracy and took the names of a few BJP leaders who hatched it against him. When the reporters asked him, he said his sentiments got hurt, and he is visiting senior police officials seeking justice.
‘A few leaders wanted to defame me’
Singh claimed that the leaders wanted him to defame, and as a result conspired against him. He claimed that he is a relative of the UP minister. Singh’s act was shot by the people present at the scene.

“The viral video was shot to malign my clean image. I had gone to attend a wedding in Bihar where BJP MLA Ketki Singh’s husband and a few others were present. These people wanted to defame me,” he said.

Following an FIR being registered against Madhya Pradesh Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah over his objectionable remarks against Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) chief Mayawati demanded strict action from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against the BJP leader.
‘Country is waiting for action from the BJP’
In a post on X, Mayawati shared, “The FIR lodged late last night after the High Court’s strictness against the Madhya Pradesh minister who made derogatory remarks about the Muslim woman colonel, heroine of Army’s Operation Sindoor against terrorists in Pakistan after the Pahalgam massacre, is appropriate, but the country is waiting for action from the BJP.”
