An extensive quantity of Gold was robbed from Ram Jewellers in the Bahiraveshwara complex on Magadi Road in Karnataka’s Bengaluru. Just before closing time, three masked men stormed into a jewellery store and carried out the heist. The crime was captured on CCTV cameras.
The robbers took advantage of the fact that the proprietor was about to leave, the shop owner tried to ward off the criminals and raise an alarm, but he was pushed aside. After hearing the commotion, the shopowners nearby also rushed in, but the robbers fled with the jewellery.
According to an estimate, the robbers fled with around 184 grams of gold. A case has been filed in the Madanayakanahalli police station, and CCTV footage is being reviewed as a part of the investigation.
As per a NDTV report, the police have suspected that the gun used for the robbery might have been fake; a few suspects and individuals are being questioned in connection with the case.
