Violation of Recent Firecracker Ban
This incident comes just days after the Delhi government imposed a ban on the production, sale, and use of firecrackers in the capital in an effort to curb air pollution ahead of the winter season. The case has been filed under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for disobedience to orders issued by a public servant, according to an official from the Civil Lines Police Station.

Celebrations Following CM’s Release
The firecrackers were set off on Friday evening, shortly after Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Court in a corruption case related to the Delhi excise policy, which was being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Kejriwal had been held in Tihar Jail for over five months before his release.
