MLA Reddy purportedly invited Allu Arjun to the gathering on Saturday without obtaining prior permission, resulting in a case being filed against them for disregarding the electoral code.
The FIR was filed for breaching Section 144, currently enforced in Andhra Pradesh as the state prepares for polling on Monday, May 13th.

The case was registered by Deputy Tehsildar P Ramachandra Rao from Nandyala Rural, who is tasked with overseeing the elections in the Nandyala constituency of Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier on Saturday, amidst significant fanfare, Allu Arjun met with Reddy at his residence. Following the meeting, Allu Arjun clarified that his visit to Nandyala was to assist his friend and asserted that he does not endorse any political party.
Allu Arjun stated to the reporter in Nandyala that he came there voluntarily. He emphasized that he would assist his friends in any field if they required his help, clarifying that his support did not indicate endorsement of any political party.
